Bridge Michigan’s monthly Lunch Break series continued Wednesday with a discussion on the causes of Michigan’s elder caregiving crisis and an exploration of solutions.

Bridge Michigan reporter Ted Roelofs was joined by Paula Duren, founder of Universal Dementia Caregivers, Christine Vanlandingham, chief operating officer for the Region IV Area Agency on Aging, and Clare Luz, associate professor at the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine for an hour-long discussion.
This event was in partnership with the New York & Michigan Solutions Journalism Collaborative, which was formed this year by more than 30 media, academic and community organizations, including Bridge Michigan. This project is supported by the Solutions Journalism Network.
