Join school discussions in Wayne County, online
Detroit and Wayne County residents concerned about the future of K-12 education in Michigan are encouraged to attend the next Center for Michigan Community Conversation, to be held at The Children’s Center of Wayne County on Saturday, Aug. 4.
The session, co-sponsored by Michigan Radio and The Children’s Center, will be a town hall format, in which audience members will be asked to give their views on the state of education in their community and a variety of potential reform measures.

Citizens unable to attend this session may still share their views on K-12 education by answering questions via the Center’s online survey. Click here to access the survey, which is anonymous.
The Center is in the midst of a year-long listening tour of Michigan aimed at collecting the thoughts of 5,000 residents about the future of K-12 education. Approximately 3,500 residents already have participated.
