As you have undoubtedly noticed, Bridge Magazine, your nonprofit, nonpartisan source for Michigan news, relies on reader support to power our reporting. We are so pleased to share that with your help, we raised more than $135,000 during our year-end fundraising campaign. This year-end campaign helped us cap a banner year; we raised nearly $300,000 in reader revenue in 2019, a 40 percent increase over 2018. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Reader support is the lifeblood of our newsroom, and it means so much to us that thousands of Bridge readers have chosen to become part of our Bridge Club community. We know in-depth, nonpartisan journalism helps ensure a better-informed state, and we’re so grateful for this support of our reporting. We're gearing up for an important election year in 2020, and Bridge Club members have helped us do so.

If you would like to become a member of Bridge Club, you can do so at any time. Our members are readers who have donated $1 or more in the last 365 days. These invested readers help us shape our coverage and have opportunities to interact with us and their fellow readers at member events across the state. Click here to join our member community.

Here are a few comments from Bridge Club members, sharing why they chose to give to Bridge:

“In our household, Bridge Michigan performs the same vital function with respect to issues in the state of Michigan that NPR has with respect to matters national and international.  Our financial support for Bridge Michigan reflects this fact.”-M.R., Grand Rapids

“Bridge does a great job in reporting news that matters to me.”-- D.P., Grand Ledge

“The work you do is indispensable in a world where fact and fiction are difficult to separate.”-- L.S., Rapid City

“Thank you so much for your outstanding journalism. It is almost impossible to get good information these days. And with no one watching--no newspapers, no reporters--our institutions behave less well. I’m so glad to have discovered Bridge Magazine. We really need you. Please keep it up.”-- J.F., Ann Arbor

“Bridge covers stories with a breadth and depth that nobody else is matching.”-- J.K., Dearborn
